Green Card Wait Estimator
Enter your priority date and category to estimate your green card timeline.
The green card priority date is the date your employer (or you, for self-petitioned categories) filed your labor certification or immigrant petition. The State Department publishes a monthly Visa Bulletin that shows which priority dates are "current" — meaning a visa number is available.
This estimator calculates the average monthly movement of the Final Action Date for your category and country of chargeability, then projects when your priority date will become current.
Note: Estimates are based on historical movement rates and are not guaranteed. Retrogression, policy changes, and annual visa number allocations can significantly affect actual wait times.
